In contrast to our last photography post, a guide to a planned photography trip, we also carry our camera and backpack around when we don’t have a planned trip. You can call it roaming or candid photography, or just spontaneous. We carry our camera around with us to capture unplanned moments, which can be a beautiful sunset or just some interesting architecture.
This past weekend we did some spontaneous shooting in Austin, Texas. We saw some street art that really caught our eye. This prompted us to google “Street Art Austin”, which came up with a list of the best street art. We went from spot to spot, taking photos,or setting up our tripod to be in the photos as well.
Next time you have spare time, explore your city and go on a spontaneous photo adventure. Some of our favorite things to search for are (add city name to the end of search) :
- Street Art in ____
- Abandoned farmhouses in _____
- Instagrammable places in _____
