We were car shopping last week and you know what a headache that can be! After test driving a few cars we wanted to take a break We wanted a delicious lunch that would keep us full, but not make us feel sluggish like fast food can.
Extreme Pita was right around the corner from our car dealer in Riverside, so we decided to give it a try. We looked over the menu for a bit and watched them make pitas.
The pitas did look really good but we decided to share the Chicken Fajita entrée, which looked big enough for 2 people and still light and healthy.
The Extreme Entrées part of the menu seemed more substantial than the pita and include sautéed vegetables, protein, 7-grain rice blend and a salad. One of the things we liked best was that even if you have leftovers, the you don’t have to worry about it being soggy later.
The employees were able to explain what each item on the menu was and were also able to suggest some variations or substitutions of items. They also offered us samples. Who doesn’t love samples?!
There are so many options on the menu, and you can customize your order or select one of their creations. The ingredients are displayed on the counter for you to see and choose from.
We finished up the entrée and headed back to the dealership feeling full and satisfied. Next time you are hankering for a healthy and filling meal, try out Extreme Pita!
